Conservation and restoration
RJ BACON BUILDERS LTD is a family business, based in Metton, Norfolk and was established in 1992. The business has grown to a team of twelve, which along with a supporting team of tradesmen (including plumbers, electricians and specialist trades), concentrate on providing clients with a quality service.
We specialise in the conservation and restoration of listed properties, covering both domestic and commercial projects. Building materials are used which closely match the character and tradition of the original building. We also try, where possible, to recycle and reuse reclaimed materials.
More recently, we have undertaken many new builds and conversions, using both contemporary and traditional styles. This has been an exciting area to develop and has allowed us to offer our clients more choice, whilst still maintaining our standards; both in build quality and services.
Whilst keeping the fabric of buildings traditional, we are also able to add the modern comforts, which clients often require.
Qualifications
- Professional Development Diploma in Building Conservation which permits us to work on scheduled monuments (of the highest historic value)
- Investor In People status since 2005
- All tradesmen are either City & Guilds qualified or hold NVQ qualifications
